Golf in Full Swing!

CWGA kicked off the season with a breakfast catered by Curry’s. It was a terrific way to start off the season. Golf was a shotgun scramble, accompanied by a beautiful sunny day…..except for the last two holes….clouds and a few sprinkles moved in, but all in all it was a great time for all of us to get back together.

New Members

Welcome Susan Paschal and Cheryl Chandler! We are glad you joined CWGA and look forward to seeing you on the course. You will be hearing more about Susan and Cheryl in next month’s Villager. All new members will be introduced at the June 5^th luncheon by their Big Sisters.

May 7^th at 9:00 a.m.CWGA Board Meeting. Play days are Thursdays May 1^st, 8^th, 15^th, 22^nd and 29^th. Be sure to sign up each week after play for the next week.

Support “All Women Golfer’s” Forum

A forum is scheduled for May 14^th, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. sponsored by the Pro Shop, The Niners, the Golf Board and CWGA. It will be held at the Charbonneau Country Club meeting room. The meeting is designed to announce special events such as Saturday golf, Ladies Nights Out and golf clinics, for all women golfers, whether members or residents of Charbonneau. Please attend and be part of the discussion.

First Saturday Play

All women golfers are invited to play Saturday mornings. Play nine or eighteen, your choice. Sign up by Thursday at noon prior to Saturday, May 3^rd. Enjoy golf and socializing on that day! This program will continue throughout the season. See you there!

Correction: Apologies to Cathi McLain and Judy Bruce. We reversed their names under their pictures in the last issue. We know who you are, though, no thanks to the mistake!
