SAVE THE DAY – MONDAY- SEPTEMBER 21ST! The golf game to raise funds for the CGC’s Geese Abatement effort, employing “The Geese Guys” and their Border Collies, will be another Fund Raiser – renaming it “The DOGS VS. THE GEESE” – a Match Play Tournament. This year we are making it a community event, for all three of our golf clubs to participate – CWGA, The Niners and The Men’s Club. A light lunch will be served at the Garden Terrace. The entry fee will be $30 – $20 going toward the Fund, and $10 for lunch.

There will be two teams that will be made up of well-matched 2-somes. In the foursome – two will be playing for “The Dogs”, and the other -“The Geese”. As before, the Big Win does not just depend on you and your partner, because you will have a bunch of “teammates” out there playing their hearts out, too – for bragging rights only.

This year the event is planned for September 21st, so be the first to sign up. Watch for the poster and signup sheet in the Member’s Room. The Pro Shop will make up the teams. There will be one signup sheet for everyone playing. So, don’t miss this one! Remember, The Geese won last year!

We know the program of using these wonderful dogs to keep our courses clean, really works. So, no matter who wins – it’s a “WIN-WIN” game for all of us who play the Charbonneau courses!
